Speech Language Pathologist Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. As a Speech Language Pathologist with VCH, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to the development of innovative care solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in speech language pathology.
Requirements:
  • Current full registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia (CSHPBC).
  • Advanced Certificate I: Videofluoroscopic Assessment of Swallowing Disorders in Adults.
  • Two (2) years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
