Job Title: Lead Consultant, Content

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of solutions offered by Scotiatrust Estate and Trust Consultants (ETCs) across Western Canada. Your primary focus will be on business development and client onboarding, ensuring the effective execution of business strategies and plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the ETC team, enabling them to achieve strong business results and deliver exceptional service to partners and clients.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of Centres of Influence (COIs) to facilitate two-way referrals and support ETCs in doing the same.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director and Market Leads to build the annual profit plan, including projected expenses for ETCs.
  • Ensure that prospective clients in the Will Bank are being proactively contacted and that any estate planning needs are being properly addressed.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in support of business development, including understanding the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture.
Requirements:
  • Law degree or member in good standing of Canadian law society would be an asset.
  • In-depth experience dealing with High Net Worth (HNW) clients and their advisors.
  • Effective people management and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge and technical proficiency related to wealth and estate planning strategies.
  • Thorough knowledge of the full Scotia Wealth product and service offering.
