Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Security Software Developer to join our Robinhood Security Cryptography and IAM Platform team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale systems that ensure the security and integrity of our infrastructure and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cryptographic services and libraries that power Robinhood's infrastructure key management and data encryption.
  • Improve developer user experience for our cryptographic tools and develop paved paths for cryptographic and authentication across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale technical quality projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar of the team.
  • Partner with your manager to improve the team's performance and build out a high-functioning engineering team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience working in Software Engineering, with a passion for security.
  • Proficient in Go or Python, with strong problem-solving skills and production debugging experience.
  • Experience building out solutions to deliver short-term wins with an eye on long-term goals.
