About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to join our team at Miramichi Express Courier. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Load and unload goods
  • Follow directions and read maps to ensure efficient delivery routes
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Criminal record check and driving record check (abstract)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying items over 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
