Job Title: Corporate Attorney

Job Summary:

beBee Professionals is seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney to provide legal advice and counsel to the organization on a variety of corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Governance: Provide legal advice and counsel on corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder meetings.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and other related activities.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Legal Advice: Provide legal advice and counsel on a variety of corporate matters.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in legal proceedings, as needed.
  • Research and Development: Keep up to date on changes in the legal landscape that may affect the organization.

Requirements:

  • Education: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • License: Licensed to practice law in the province of Ontario.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in corporate law.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
