Resident Attendant Job Description

At Sienna Senior Living, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Resident Attendant, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to resident call bells and door alarms, providing courteous and respectful service.
  • Complete all aspects of resident care as outlined in the plan of care and care assignment.
  • Transport residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office, and dining room as required.
  • Perform laundry and housekeeping duties as assigned.
  • Deal tactfully and courteously with residents, residents' families, and report any concerns or complaints to the team leader.
  • Practice safe food handling techniques throughout all aspects of food preparation and service.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of six months of experience in a similar role.
  • Current First Aid/CPR training.
  • Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
