Position Overview
Reporting to the Station Manager and under the guidance of the Supervisor, the Bulk Driver plays a crucial role in operating and maintaining field equipment, performing shop upkeep, and supporting the operational activities of the business. This position collaborates closely with Greenhands and Operators and is classified as safety-sensitive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport blended cement powder and various materials from the bulk plant to designated field locations.
  • Offload cement powder into field storage silos or into cement pumpers during mixing processes.
  • Assist with rigging in and rigging down units, mixing and pumping, and site cleanup.
  • Ensure effective management of daily operations.
  • Maintain necessary documentation within the vehicle at all times.
  • Oversee pneumatic bulk equipment to guarantee efficient product delivery on-site.
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance on field equipment.
  • Carry out maintenance on bulk tractor and trailer, including greasing, oil changes, and weekly inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and coordinate with other departments, including Sales and Dispatch.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with both external and internal clients in alignment with company values and objectives.
  • Adhere to and enforce company safety policies while ensuring compliance with HSE legislation and DOT regulations.
  • Establish and uphold procedures to ensure a high level of service.
  • Engage in training and development activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg, bending, standing, and climbing for extended periods.
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions for prolonged periods.
  • Available for on-call duties 24 hours on a 15 days on, 6 days off rotational schedule, maintaining fitness for duty at all times.
  • Capable of working in congested or confined spaces, with exposure to loud noises and vibrations.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country where the role is based.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in oil and gas field operations.
  • Class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driving experience on diverse road types.
  • Mechanical aptitude with maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong work ethic, positive demeanor, reliability, and dependability.
  • Adaptable and flexible to changing circumstances.
  • Understanding of safety protocols.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on customer service.
  • Demonstrated initiative and results-driven approach.

Asset Qualifications
  • Experience with oil and gas cementing services.
  • Possession of relevant oil field tickets.
  • Familiarity with rigging procedures, mixing and pumping, and site cleanup.
  • Experience in customer interactions.
