Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer II to join our team at Ansys. As a key member of our EDA product support team, you will collaborate with software developers, architects, and product specialists to deliver top-notch solutions to our leading-edge semiconductor design customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise in one or more Ansys EDA products and work independently to resolve customer issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer support, answering questions on tool functionality and troubleshooting product defects.
  • Work closely with R&D teams to identify and resolve product defects, and develop clear descriptions of product enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver evaluations, benchmarks, and demos.
  • Develop strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to drive business results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 5 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 1 year of experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good programming skills and knowledge of VLSI design, Physical Design, and CMOS fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passion for learning and deploying new technologies.
  • 0-2 years of prior experience in ASIC Physical design, Power-Integrity/Signal-Integrity/Reliability Closure, or Custom circuit design and simulation.
