Company Overview

As a key member of our logistics team, the part-time Warehouse Operations Associate will report directly to the Operations Manager or Warehouse Manager. This role is essential in supporting various warehouse functions such as loading, repacking, inventory management, and general upkeep.

This physically demanding position involves loading bulk and route vehicles, necessitating a keen focus on the loading of outgoing shipments and the unloading of incoming deliveries. You will utilize order sheets to construct loads with the aid of a forklift and electronic pallet jack. Ensuring precision in loading and adherence to shipping and receiving documentation is critical, along with following warehouse protocols to build loads while upholding a clean and safe working environment. You may encounter diverse weather conditions while performing your duties. The role requires the ability to lift a substantial volume of product cases, ranging from 20 to 45 pounds, repeatedly throughout your shift.

Role Responsibilities

LOADING OPERATIONS

Efficiently load trucks by selecting specified packages and product varieties from the warehouse and placing them into the bays of a delivery vehicle.

Ensure proper product rotation on trucks and within the warehouse, adhering to expiration guidelines.

Clean and repackage items in accordance with established standards.

Dispose of any damaged or expired products following approval from the Operations Manager.

Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse by managing waste disposal nightly, sweeping floors daily, and utilizing a floor scrubber as needed.

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Experience with forklift operations is advantageous.

A valid driver's license is required, as assistance in moving trucks may be necessary.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, afternoon shifts.

Capability to lift and transport inventory and promotional displays weighing up to 45 pounds.

Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.

Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
