Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Black + Blue Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of food and beverage servers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Quality Control
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, ensuring that all dishes meet our culinary standards.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
    • Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and walk.
    • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
