About the RoleThis position is based out of the Camrose Professional Centre, serving children 0-18 years old. As a member of an inter-disciplinary team, you will provide services to children and their families in the clinic, community, home, and virtually. Opportunities exist to be part of several specialty clinics, including the seating clinic, school age neuro developmental clinic, and the FASD clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence in development, disease, disability, chronic conditions, illness, and functional decline.
- Collaborate with patients and families to determine, implement, and evaluate appropriate rehabilitation strategies.
- Participate in interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich supports, and engage in quality improvement.
- Contribute to quality improvement and professional community through peer mentoring and supervising students.
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Experience working with pediatrics.
