1740100 Alberta LTD. O/A Smart Home Builder is seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in residential and commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners with metal corner beads, ensuring a smooth and durable finish.
  • Fabricate and Install Suspended Metal Ceiling Grids: Create acoustical and coffered ceilings by installing suspended metal ceiling grids and placing panels.
  • Fill Joints and Nail Indentations: Use joint compound to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Finish Corners and Angles: Create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required, to add a touch of elegance to our projects.
  • Measure, Cut, and Install Drywall Sheets: Ensure accurate measurements and installation of drywall sheets to meet our high standards.
  • Spray Acoustic or Texture Materials: Apply acoustic or texture materials to walls and ceilings, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our projects.
  • Tape Over Joints: Use a taping machine to embed tape in compound, ensuring a strong and durable bond.
  • Install Metal Stud Framing and Furring: Use hand and power tools to install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Accurately estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring we stay within budget.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and completion of projects.
