Production Technician

As a key member of our production team at Evertz, you will play a vital role in assembling our products with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow detailed assembly instructions, test procedures, and bill of materials to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Assemble servers from bare chassis to finished product, adhering to quality standards and specifications.
  • Install additional modules based on customer ordering options, requiring strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Perform initial functional tests, including power, boot-up, and BIOS checks, to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Install and run Linux-based software, requiring a basic understanding of computer systems and software applications.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Report daily work assignment updates to your supervisor or manager, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Perform other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications and computer skills essential.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented and able to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a focus on physical stamina and endurance.
