Job Title: Floral Designer

About the Role: As a Floral Designer at Thrifty Foods, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements that delight our customers. Your attention to detail and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences will make you a valuable member of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create floral arrangements that meet our high standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring our customers leave with a smile
  • Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, and Health & Safety guidelines
  • Perform required duties of the Floor Maintenance Program
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and presentable at all times
  • Operate equipment correctly and perform duties in a safety-conscious manner
  • Establish positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Accurately sign and price all products
  • Accurately follow all cash handling procedures
  • Organize, rotate, and maintain floral product in accordance with company inventory control procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements

Working Conditions:

  • May be required to lift up to 50lbs
  • Two person lift required for weights exceeding 50lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Physical work including bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Exposure to varying temperatures over short periods of time
  • Exposure to sanitation and cleaning chemicals
  • Flexible hours and overtime

Compensation: We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package, varied by role, designed to help our teammates to live better – physically, financially and emotionally.

Salary Range: The starting salary range for this position is $16.85-$21.30/hr.
