About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Specialist to join our team at eMotors Direct. As a key member of our sales team, you'll play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for inverters, drives, and controls, ensuring customer satisfaction and optimal product performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone, including low-voltage (LV) drive commissioning and installation support.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to assist in the quoting process for high-end control packages, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Analyze tender specifications and provide detailed quotes, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project needs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers, responding to technical inquiries, understanding their requirements, and proposing tailored solutions to enhance customer trust and strengthen relationships.
Requirements
  • Journeyman certification as an Instrumentation & Control Technician, Electrical Engineering Diploma, or similar education.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in handling low-voltage electrical products, such as drives, motors, PLCs, with a preference for expertise in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage AC and DC controls, with a focus on drives and related systems.
