We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, making adjustments and minor repairs to various systems, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Make contact with tradespersons for major repairs.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Basic security clearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Dependability and reliability.
The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including office buildings, commercial buildings, and various locations. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
