We are seeking an experienced and passionate engineer in embedded software development processes to fill the position of Embedded Software Business Architect. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) and the tools necessary for product development.
Key Responsibilities- Process Documentation: Understand and document the software development processes in place, ensuring clarity and consistency across the organization.
- Process Improvement: Identify required improvements based on industry best practices such as ASPICE, and develop strategies to implement these changes.
- Tool Deployment: Identify and understand the tools required to support development, and participate in their deployment and integration.
- Training and Integration: Assess needs, ensure preparation, and execute the training and integration strategy for development teams.
- Process Reviews: Perform process reviews to ensure compliance and make adjustments if necessary.
- Methodology Harmonization: Collaborate with other process team members to harmonize and integrate methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, computer science, software, or other related field.
- Experience: More than 5 years of experience in the development and/or validation of embedded software (preferably in the fields of motorized vehicles or transportation).
- Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders, demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills in English and French.
- Assets: Knowledge of vehicle design processes, requirements management software, and ALM.
