Position Overview

Retail Merchandiser

Location: Field Based

Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for managing product presentation in retail environments. Your tasks will include displaying, relocating, and monitoring products to ensure optimal sales opportunities for stores and their suppliers.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Availability for shifts from 6 am to 2:30 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays bi-weekly

Key Responsibilities:

The Retail Merchandiser will service and sell to retail accounts within a designated area, ensuring that client standards are met and sales volume is maximized.

Essential Duties:

  • Constructing cosmetic displays and walls according to planograms
  • Maintaining compliance with planogram standards
  • Executing merchandising requests as needed
  • Conducting seasonal and departmental resets
  • Assisting with new store renovations and relocations
  • Providing electronic reporting of activities

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel may be necessary for this position. A valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle are required unless public transportation is available.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year of merchandising experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in merchandising, cosmetics, or grocery sectors
  • Ability to interpret and follow planograms and assemble displays
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform essential job functions in a retail environment, which may involve significant physical activity, including lifting and standing for long periods. Proper safety practices must be followed when handling products.
