Key Responsibilities- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
- Process Sales Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and receive payment for goods or services.
- Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage Inventory: Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that all products are properly displayed and priced.
- Perform Cash Handling Tasks: Count and reconcile cash, process credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and customer transactions.
- Work as Part of a Team: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for this position.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
