Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Westwood Landscapes Inc. As a key member of our outdoor construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, management, and supervision of landscape construction work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Estimation: Plan and estimate labour and materials for landscape construction projects.
  • Worksite Management: Manage and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs, including materials requisitioned and equipment used.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and establish work schedules and procedures.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Outdoor work environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding work, and attention to detail.
