Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Analyst to support our development team in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining dynamic financial models, conducting feasibility studies, and preparing pro forma analyses to assess project viability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support development projects
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare pro forma analyses to assess project viability
  • Work closely with development, construction, marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure accurate financial analysis throughout the project lifecycle
  • Perform sensitivity analyses and develop scenarios to assess risks and opportunities
  • Provide regular updates and variance analysis to senior management
  • Lead the appraisal process, loan monitoring, and property tax reviews
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external audiences
  • Develop pitch books and presentations to summarise development opportunities for equity partners, community leaders, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or progression towards a CFA designation
  • Hands-on expertise in real estate development and financial analysis
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Robust ability to conduct comprehensive financial proforma analyses
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Argus Developer
  • Local market knowledge and familiarity with public agencies and consulting contacts
