The Asphalt Screedman is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the screed and to place the asphalt mat as per the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the screed to ensure smooth and even asphalt placement
  • Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with the paving team to achieve project deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Two to three years of experience in the Road Construction Industry
  • Working knowledge of Asphalt and related materials
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean Driver's Abstract (less than three convictions & less than 7 demerits)

Physical Demands

  • Must have the physical strength, stamina, and coordination to complete the assigned duties
