Job Title: Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at TULIP E-COMMERCE AND LOGISTICS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics department, ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure that all shipments are processed on time and within budget.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage finances and budget to ensure that all expenses are accounted for and that the department is operating within budget.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and carriers to secure the best rates and services for the company.
  • Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods to ensure that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
