Shipping Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Shipping Supervisor to oversee the operational logistics of DLH Carriers INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Logistics: Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Maintenance: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Training: Train workers in duties and policies to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Work Coordination: Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that materials and supplies are available when needed.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
