About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented individual to join our team at FRUITS DE MER MADELEINE INC. as a Fish Quality Control Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of fish products to ensure they meet our company's high standards.
  • Take samples of products at various stages of processing to monitor quality and consistency.
  • Examine ingredients or finished products to verify conformance to company specifications.
  • Perform routine tests to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Ensure that all hygiene and sanitation practices adhere to our policies and regulations.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to odours, cold/refrigerated temperatures, and wet/damp conditions.

Requirements
  • Relevant experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Fluency in English or French is required.
  • Availability to work 30 to 70 hours per week.
