About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our team at TD Bank. As a Financial Planner, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning and analysis to identify clients' financial goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement personalized financial plans to help clients achieve their goals
  • Provide ongoing financial guidance and support to clients to ensure they stay on track with their financial plans
  • Collaborate with other financial professionals to provide a comprehensive range of financial services to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure clients receive the best possible advice

Requirements:

  • Financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning (IPF) required prior to start date
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required prior to start date
  • 3 to 5 years of banking experience
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve our clients in the community with English-speaking needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CIRO license preferred (required within first 90 days in role)
  • Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role
  • Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role
  • Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape and economic market issues
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work collaboratively and independently, provide assistance and build relationships
