About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to support students with special needs in our elementary and secondary schools. As a collaborative team member, you will work closely with teachers to deliver daily programs and provide care for students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in implementing Board-approved programs, including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and academic and behavioural programs.
  • Support students with special needs, such as Down Syndrome, Autism, and students requiring Total Care.
  • Work as a team member to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Community College Educational Support Diploma or related field of study.
  • Minimum one year of experience supporting individuals with special needs.
  • Proven ability to work as a team member, with high sensitivity and diplomacy.
