Nurse Specialist in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Care

SE Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Care to join our team in Downtown Toronto. As a member of our Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Team, you will provide specialized care to individuals with ostomies, acute and chronic wounds, and urinary and fecal continence concerns.

- Clinical Support and Consultation:
- Perform holistic assessments of clients with wound, ostomy, and/or continence concerns.
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
- Provide education and mentorship to build wound, ostomy, and continence knowledge within SE Health.
- Program Development/Leadership:
- Support quality healthcare through teaching, mentoring, program development, and quality monitoring.
- Optimize client outcomes by reviewing Quality Improvement reports.
- Identify nursing trends and issues related to wound, ostomy, and continence management.
- Must have completed the Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) WOC-EP program.
- Current and active membership in NSWOC Canada is preferred.
- Must be an RN with a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Flexibility and a commitment to advancing wound, ostomy, and continence care at SE Health are required.
