Financial Records Specialist

As a Financial Records Specialist at R W Gibson Consulting Services Ltd., you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data. Your expertise will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with established standards.
Educational Requirements- Completion of College or CEGEP program in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare and manage general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Proficient in accounting software and tools.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
- Focus on Accounting practices and principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Demonstrates accuracy and dependability.
- Exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and reliable team player.
