About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at 2 Sisters Poultry & Meat Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods and products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Trip Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and ensure timely delivery.
  • Record Keeping: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Work Experience: Willingness to train and learn the role.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
