About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Tirupati Foods and Caterers Inc. as an Ethnic Cuisine Chef. This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with relocation costs covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise in South Indian, East Indian, Vegetarian, and International cuisine.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
    • Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain high standards of quality and hygiene.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve our culinary goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of South Indian, East Indian, Vegetarian, and International cuisine.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure.
