About the Role

Calgary Co-op is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and providing patient counseling
  • Process prescriptions and maintain accurate records
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Completed a recognized Pharmacy Assistant program
  • 2 years of dispensing experience (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
