Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

Brightcity electrical and general contractor is seeking a highly skilled Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Workers and Projects: Oversee a team of 5-10 workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete projects efficiently.
  • Coordinate and Schedule Activities: Plan and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Conduct thorough cost estimates, ensuring accurate budgeting and material procurement.
  • Set Up Equipment: Ensure all necessary equipment is properly set up and maintained, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement strategies to meet project deadlines, ensuring timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
