About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at KS Constructions. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces to be covered with tile, ensuring they are clean, dry, and free of any debris.
  • Mortar Application: Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.
  • Tile Installation: Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
  • Tile Alignment: Align and straighten tiles to ensure a uniform and aesthetically pleasing finish.
  • Obstacle Navigation: Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Grout Application: Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Tile Replacement: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Mosaic Tile Installation: Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Stone Installation: Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
  • Terra Surface Installation: Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
  • Tile Strip Installation: Install tile strips.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
