Job Title: Engineering Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Scientist to join our team at O-Net Technologies (Canada) Inc. in a full-time position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and development in the field of physics, with a focus on identifying different programs that will benefit the ultimate goal of the company. This will involve conducting research to expand knowledge of the field, administering evaluative tests and procedures, troubleshooting and locating faults, and documenting work completed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and development in the field of physics, with a focus on identifying different programs that will benefit the ultimate goal of the company.
  • Conduct research to expand knowledge of the field, including literature reviews and experimental design.
  • Administer evaluative tests and procedures to assess the effectiveness of different programs.
  • Troubleshoot and locate faults in existing systems and processes.
  • Document work completed, including research findings and recommendations.
  • Design and conduct research in experimental and theoretical physics, including the development of new models and simulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize research projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance the company's research goals.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physics or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in research and development, preferably in the field of physics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and conduct experiments and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB and Python.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
