POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is essential for the accurate selection, invoicing, and dispatch of customer orders. Additionally, responsibilities include the proper storage of incoming inventory, conducting regular inventory audits, and optimizing warehouse space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize mobile handheld devices to pick and invoice all sales orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of requisitions and sales orders to designated recipients.
- Organize and store new inventory in its assigned location.
- Conduct cycle counts of existing inventory at scheduled intervals as directed by management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
Responsibilities may be adjusted periodically. Other tasks may be assigned as necessary.
SUPERVISORY ROLE
This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Familiarity with Windows-based software (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required.
- Must demonstrate teamwork and a commitment to departmental growth and process enhancement.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with frequent staff interaction.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proficient in computer operations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

PERFORMANCE METRICS
- Adherence to standard packaging procedures to ensure accuracy while managing workload volume.
- Packaging counts will be monitored for accuracy against established standards.
- Employee performance will be assessed based on order accuracy and volume demand.
- Daily average of units received will be tracked.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or equivalent is required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasional tasks may involve sitting, reaching overhead, climbing, or balancing.
- Frequent walking is necessary.
- Continuous standing and repetitive hand movements are required.
- Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 100 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
No bonus or commission plan is applicable.
EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
- Introductory reviews will occur approximately 90 days after employment to assess continuation.
- Monthly evaluations will focus on quantitative performance and activity metrics.
- Annual reviews will incorporate monthly evaluations, attendance, job knowledge, overall performance, and reliability.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is an hourly position with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Punctuality and adherence to time-off policies are expected. Availability for additional hours may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position is based in a professional open office setting within the production warehouse and shipping area. Casual yet professional attire is required, including closed-toe, hard-soled shoes. Employees must wear company-branded apparel once the initial supply has been provided.
