Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Prairie Mountain Health.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will work with clients to develop and implement personalized plans to improve their functional abilities and independence. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' functional abilities and develop individualized plans to improve their independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Conduct home visits and assessments to identify clients' needs and develop plans to address them.
  • Work with clients to develop and implement strategies to improve their physical and cognitive abilities.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with clients with complex needs and conditions.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
