We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team in Canadian Business Banking. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements and providing strategic guidance to our business partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a risk-based audit plan for Canadian Business Banking, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead audit teams to conduct thorough and independent assessments of business processes and controls, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement effective audit strategies, ensuring that audit findings are actionable and meaningful.
- Provide regular reporting to governance committees, including Audit Committees, on audit findings and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date on evolving regulatory expectations and industry practices, incorporating this knowledge into audit plans and approaches.
- Represent Internal Audit on management committees and key projects, providing expert advice and guidance on audit-related matters.
- Post-graduate degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in audit or a related field, with a strong background in risk management and compliance.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading audit teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex audit findings to senior management and governance committees.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
