Job Summary

IBEX TRUCKS LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to oversee the daily operations of our transportation department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Staff

Directly supervise a team of 1-2 transportation staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals and objectives.

Transportation Compliance

Ensure that all transportation operations are in compliance with relevant regulations and laws, including those related to safety, security, and environmental sustainability.

Policies and Standards

Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.

Revenue Management

Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue to ensure that it is aligned with company goals and objectives.

Operations Management

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily transportation operations to ensure that they are running efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as transportation management, logistics, or supply chain management.

Experience

1-2 years of experience in a transportation management role, preferably in a similar industry.

Skills

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of transportation staff.

Attention to Detail

High level of attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that all transportation operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Initiative and Organized

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and organization.

Team Player

Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
