Island Health is seeking a skilled Family Practice physician to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Family Practice physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including routine check-ups, sick visits, and chronic disease management
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice medicine in the province
- Board certification in Family Medicine or equivalent
