About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Helper to join our team at Candid Trucking Incorporated. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will assist our experienced technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices with tasks such as moving equipment, cleaning machines, and signaling safety procedures.
  • Help with transportation and travel arrangements, including owning a valid driver's license and having access to a vehicle.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to lift and move heavy equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot, dusty, and noisy environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
