Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Production Associate to join our team at Del's Pastry Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by checking products and packaging for basic quality defects.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery, feed and unload processing machines, and clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties and work collaboratively with the production team to meet production goals.
  • Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of food safety and handling skills to ensure a safe working environment.
Work Environment

Our bakery is a fast-paced environment with a focus on producing high-quality products. As a Bakery Production Associate, you will be working in a large volume bakery setting, exposed to odors and hot temperatures.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment.
