Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Caseware/Caseview.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
