Job Summary

Optique Cristal (1988)inc. is seeking a skilled Optical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As an Optical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of eyewear products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Lens Preparation: Cut and edge lenses to precise specifications, and fit lenses into frames with accuracy.
  • Grinding and Polishing: Arrange for grinding or polishing of lenses, or perform grinding and polishing tasks in-house.
Work Environment

As an Optical Laboratory Technician, you will work in a fast-paced ophthalmic or optical laboratory environment. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player with excellent communication skills.
