We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at Chicken Kingdom & Seafood. This role requires a strong commitment to food quality and safety, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a similar role
The position is based in a restaurant setting, where teamwork and communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Assess food portion sizes and calculate associated costs
- Design menus and forecast food requirements for preparation
- Order and manage kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes
- Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas
- Provide training to staff on food preparation and safety
- Supervise kitchen personnel and assist with daily operations
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food and supplies
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
- Must pass a criminal record check
- Attention to detail is crucial
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Capable of repetitive tasks
- Willingness to stand for extended periods
- Work Term: Temporary
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 hours per week
