Job Title: Financial Officer

Columbia Dungeness Crab Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Coordinate payroll and benefits administration, including processing payroll, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows.
