About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at Kampen Appliance Service. As an Appliance Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose faults in electrical appliances
  • Repair and replace faulty components using electrical test equipment and specialized diagnostic tools
  • Prepare written estimates of repair costs and advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
  • Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical appliance repair
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

As an Appliance Service Technician, you will be working on-site with customers, visiting various locations in urban areas. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs.
