Position Overview:
Barminco Mine Services Canada Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Scoop Operator to work underground at the Hemlo Operations.

Work Schedule:
• 14 days on / 14 days off
• Rotating shifts, including days and nights.
• Drive-in/drive-out arrangements available for those residing outside the operational region.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will prioritize safety for themselves and their colleagues while performing the following tasks:
• Mucking development headings and stockpiles (both manual and remote operations)
• Loading trucks with ore or waste materials
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in all working areas and travel routes
• Assisting with various mine services as needed
• Demonstrating a willingness to learn new techniques and share knowledge with team members

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven commitment to safety practices
• Completion of Underground Common Core and specialty modules
• Minimum of 3 years of underground work experience
• Experience with Atlas Copco, Sandvic, and/or Cat loading units is advantageous
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities
• Effective communication skills and good radio etiquette
• Flexibility to assist with a variety of tasks
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt
• Experience working in a cross-cultural environment
