We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Vanway Kitchens. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets that meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Fabrication: Design and fabricate custom cabinets to meet customer specifications, ensuring maximum storage and functionality.
- Woodworking: Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form parts and components, using hand tools to shape surfaces and edges of wood workpieces.
- Assembly and Finishing: Assemble and finish custom cabinets, applying veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and preparing and applying laminated plastics.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test cabinets to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintenance and Organization: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly organized and stored.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
- Skills: Attention to detail, efficient interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
