Farm Supervisor Job Description

Delfresh Mushroom Farm Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the smooth operation of our vertical farming system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and maintain crops on our vertical farming system
  • Supervise and train farm workers to ensure they are following proper safety and bio-security procedures
  • Monitor and maintain farm equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of farm workers to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Ensure quality control and production records are maintained
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve farm efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in farm operations or a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Work outdoors in a rural area with exposure to dust, heat, and odors
  • Work in a physically demanding environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
